“TBEAI” Project launch: A step forward in innovation
The launch event of the “TBEAI” project, an initiative co-financed by the European Union under
the Erasmus+ program, was held.
This event marked the official start of the project’s implementation, bringing together
institutional representatives, academic staff, and partners interested in its development and
execution.
The event opened with a welcome speech by the Vice-Rector of AAB College, Dr. Sc. Ilir
Bytyçi, who emphasized the importance of international projects for advancing quality in higher
education and highlighted that AAB College’s participation in EU-funded projects directly
contributes to raising institutional standards.
The Director of the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, Mimika Dobroshi, spoke about the
transformative role of the Erasmus+ program in institutional development, adding that the
“TBEAI” project is an example of the serious commitment of Kosovar institutions to be active
participants in the European Higher Education Area.
The Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences, Prof. Arben Ahmeti, focused on the academic
and technological dimensions of the project, stating that the “TBEAI” project creates concrete
opportunities for developing advanced skills in technology and innovation.
Arta Musollaj, Project Officer, presented the managerial and structural aspects of the project,
along with the importance of coordination between academic and administrative units to ensure
the achievement of set objectives.
The project coordinator, Prof. Engin Melekoglu, outlined the vision and main objectives of
“TBEAI,” along with the goal of creating a sustainable framework for collaboration and
innovation that will produce measurable results in enhancing academic and professional
capacities.
The event concluded with closing remarks and discussions on the next steps for implementation.
The “TBEAI” project is expected to significantly contribute to strengthening institutional
capacities, advancing academic quality, and deepening AAB College’s international cooperation
within European programs.
