Work Packages
WP 1 - Project Management and Quality Assurance (36 months)
will be co-led by Aleksander Moisiu University of Durres
(P1 UAMD) Albania and University of Business and Technology (P7 UBT) Kosovo. UAMD will undertake the crosscutting
management, monitoring and reporting. The planned activities include the development and implementation of project
management and monitoring strategy (results-oriented, KPIs), partners coordination and financial planning and controlling
(budgeting, financial), knowledge management and documentation (internal and external reporting, white papers, tutorials,
project minutes, and meetings). In addition, six Steering Committee meetings will be organized, approximately one every six
months, and will be combined with other activities two of them will be organized at Kick-off meeting and Closing event. Also
led by UBT this WP will develop the Quality Monitoring Plan (QMP) and will follow activities: establishing project quality
committee, contribution in the development of quality monitoring plan, dealing with subcontracting an external quality expert,
evaluation of new master contribution on preparing Mid-term monitoring reports and recommendations, contribution in
developing QA policies for applying AI Tools teaching and learning in Busines Education etc. Student questionnaires or
Students’ feedback about new MSc program and courses developed will be realized in this wp as well.
WP 2 - Innovating Master's Curriculum for the Future of Business Education (8 months)
will be co-led by Western Balkan
University- (P4 WBU) Albania and University of Banja Luka (P5 UNIBL) Bosnia-Herzegovina. The specific objectives of the
WP 2 are researching on existing curricula, definition of new MSc. curriculum and development of reports findings and printed of new MSc. Curriculum. Moreover, in this wp will have 2 EU Study Visits in premises of PI Santarem and UL, learn by them
best expertise. All consortium members will take part in these activities since it will be accompanied with some knowledge
sharing (teaching/research) activities as well. The leading partner is expected to offer this new program; thus, UAMD will
develop a new curriculum for this aim. On the other hand, the other fifth participating WB partners will be rewired 2 courses
from their existing curricula.
WP 3 - Enriching Infrastructure Capacity (3 months)
will be led by University of Ljubljana- (P2 UL) Slovenia, and is
designed to build infrastructure (AI business centers) at all WB HEIs that will be used for the development of courses in
domain of AI with different softwares and hardware, for student training and research by the academic staff. WB HIEs will
increase their capacity in equipment and software for their AI business hubs and on the other hand, they will benefit from
European experience in their use by training.
WP 4 - Building human capacities for Innovating Education for the Next Generation (teaching and learning methodologies)
will be co-led by Santarém Polytechnic University- (P3 PI Santarem) Portugal and University of Ljubljana-
(P2 UL) Slovenia. This wp will consist in building human capacity by training and advising member staff, preparing
methodologies and teaching materials by incorporating AI tools. Furthermore, all contents and the materials related to
teaching will developed and published. At, least 10 courses in total (2 courses/each WB HEIs) will be developed in this wp. In
this wp, 3 academic staff training will also be organized, especially in the premises of WBU in Albania, UBT in Kosovo and
UNIBL in B&H. Also, in this work package, the criteria for admission of students to the new MSc in UAMD will be defined.
WP 5 - Implementation of the Master of Science Study Program
will be co-led by International Burch University (P6 IBU)
and Aleksander Moisiu University of Durres-(P1 UAMD) respectively in B&H and Albania. During this work package, the
implementation of professional studies will be realized and the necessary feedback will be taken and evaluated. Initially, the
necessary documents required for the accreditation process will be prepared and submitted to the respective bodies for
evaluation and approval. UAMD will be the main responsible for the Accreditation process of the new MSc program as well. In
the meantime, all the WB HEIs will ensure student enrolment based on their own application criteria. Realization of the new
MSC and other WB HEIs programmes will include teaching, learning, evaluation and exams. During the realization of study
programmes, surveys and questionnaires will be used to get feedback from students on the quality of teaching, teaching
materials and overall realization of the process. Furthermore, online student training will be conducted by IP Santarem EU
expertise, in addition, three internships are planned in the premises of AP in Albania, Kosovo and B&H. In this task,
roundtables will be held with other universities/businesses that are not in the consortium for sharing knowledge and
collaborations in the field of Business with AI and strengthen the cooperation between HEIs in WB by working on articles in
the field of Business and AI will carry out as well
WP 6 - Dissemination/Sustainability
will be led by AAB Collage- (P8 AAB Collage) Kosovo. This WP describes the way of
communicating between partners, other interested parties, as well as the channels that will be followed for the dissemination
of activities, events, promotional materials, etc. The purpose of the WP is to disseminate information about the project among
the countries of the region as well as in the EU countries.
